TENANCY SUPPORT SCHEME

About the scheme

(1) A partnership scheme between WGCADA and the City and County of Swansea to provide intensive 'floating' support for people who have alcohol or drug misuse issues.

(2) Direct support scheme for council tenants aimed to increase independence, autonomy and confidence.

Who is the scheme suitable for?

Persons aged 18+ who require time-limited additional support to establish or maintain their tenancies.

Support services

The Scheme provides casework support, advice and advocacy based on individual needs assessment. To include practical assistance, budgeting and benefits advice, support to address alcohol or drug issues, accessing mainstream and specialist support.

Referral

Referrals to the Scheme can be requested through the local Housing Office directly, or through a project worker at WGCADA.
