Port Talbot Client - Female - Heroin User

Without the services of West Glamorgan Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (WGCADA) I feel I would still be using heroin. The support and the positive attitude I get from my keyworker helped me to regain my confidence.

I have been a client for 3 years and I feel I have made excellent progress in my recovery and in myself.

I initially attended WGCADA with a serious Heroin problem and following the support and appropriate referrals I feel this has saved my life. Especially in the last year when I have been stable and achieved the goals my keyworker had set.

Overall WGCADA is a necessity for people who want to give up drugs - for people like me.
